Spicy Guacamole
Guacamole isn't just for Super Bowl Sunday and Cinco de Mayo parties! Try this recipe with scrambled eggs or omelets. We love it on burgers, our Sweet Potato Mash, and even underneath Crab Cakes (recipe coming soon!) . Pairs well with our Crunchy Keto Crackers.
INGREDIENTS
- 1 large Hass avocado
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise and/ or 1/4 cup sour cream
- 1 tsp chili paste
- cumin to taste
- garlic salt to taste
- freshly cracked peppercorns to taste
- diced onions or onion powder to taste
INSTRUCTIONS
- With a knife, dice the avocado "meat" into quarter inch pieces.
- Use a spoon to scoop out the small chunks of avocado.
- Use a fork to mash and combine with mayonnaise and lime juice.
- Add all remaining ingredients and stir with fork to combine.
- Serve with your favorite food immediately, OR refrigerate for later consumption (top with lime/lemon juice before storing in an air-tight container, to prevent browning).
